Steuben Parade to ring the closing bell

The German-American Steuben Parade Committee will visit the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday to celebrate German-American Friendship Month. General Chairman Lars Halter and Miss German-America Melissa Gratzl will ring the Closing Bell at 4 PM, and everyone is invited to watch. CNN and CNBC will broadcast live, and you can also follow the Ceremony online at Live Link of NYSE.

The ceremony will then be archived by the New York Stock Exchange and can be seen at Archiv Link of NYSE. (Please note that the archive link will not become active until approx. 2 hrs. after the event. Once active, it will be available for 2 years.)

Several German companies are NYSE listed, like our sponsor Deutsche Telekom and also insurance giant Allianz as well as Deutsche Bank, Siemens, Fresenius Medical Care, and Hightech leaders SAP, Infineon and Qimonda.

NYSE CEO Duncan Niederauer will be a Grand Marshal at the 51st German-American Steuben Parade on Saturday, September 20th, on Fifth Avenue. The Parade starts punctually at 12 Noon and will lead from 63rd Street to 86th Street.
