Pub Crawl was a blast!

This year's German Pub Crawl was far an absolute blast! The once again sold out event, a staple of the German-American Friendship Month each and every year, started at "Zum Schneider's" in the "alphabet city" area of Manhattan, went across the East River to Williamsburg - where we made two stops at "Radegast" and "d.b.a." - and ended at the "Lederhosen NYC" in the West Village area of Manhattan.

Attendees were able to enjoy a choice of specially-priced beer at each stop, courtesy of S.K.I. Beer Importers, or were free to order their own favorites at menu prices! Some folks took the opportunity to experiment with some rarely available Check and Belgian beer choices...I tried an outstanding Check berry pilsner!

Peter Nelson, owner of Niche Importers - Killepitsch liquor and other fine aperitifs from Germany - treated the group to a shot of Killepitsch at the Raddegast Ale House. We were also treated to a goody bag from Peter at the end of the crawl. That one included little shot size bottles of Killepitsch, and some fine liquor flavored chocolates!

At the end of the ride, I immediately put in my reservation for net year's crawl!
